This is an opportunity to provide pro bono legal services online through the ABA. Read more about the program here. The ABA provides malpractice insurance for its volunteers.
You must register as a volunteer before attending the event to get approval as a lawyer volunteer! Registration can be found here, and the volunteer FAQ can be found here.
You are responsible for conducting conflict checks, and you may want to select the questions you wish to answer before attending the event, so you can conduct the conflict check. You will have 3 days from the date of selecting a question to answer it.
Be sure to bring your own laptop, but we will be providing light refreshments. Please note that the library permits only covered drinks and “dry” food.
Please pre-register so we can plan for refreshments. Limited spaces available.
