FEATURED PRESENTATION:

The Law of The Seas: The Jones Act, Unseaworthiness, and Maintenance and Cure Litigation

Course Description:

This program will cover admiralty causes of action involving injured mariners under the provisions of the Jones Act; and, the common law causes of action of unseaworthiness and maintenance and cure.

Speaker Bios:

Attorney Nicholas E. Karatinos is a graduate of The College of Wooster, Departmental Honors in Economics, and of the Levin College of Law, University of Florida. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia, in the Middle District of Florida, in the Third, Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and before the United States Supreme Court.
