FEATURED PRESENTATION:

The Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office represents Florida's children caught in the complex foster care system every day through no fault of their own.  It is the only agency on the child's case that focuses only on the child and represents the child's legal interests in court and their social needs in the community.

Sara Urban is the program's Pro Bono Liaison and Statewide Event Coordinator.  In this presentation, she will discuss how attorneys and non-attorneys are involved in the process of protecting children throughout the state.  Further, she'll explain the various ways that volunteers can and do get involved in supporting this profoundly important mission.
