FEATURED PRESENTATION:

Most are fortunate to not fully appreciate the prevalence of domestic violence in our society.  But understanding how widespread the problem is, and learning the dynamics of the issue, is important to all of us so that we can help.  In this introductory training, attendees will learn some of the details of domestic violence, develop skills to recognize the signs of DV, and find out how to appropriately respond to victim disclosures.  Finally, our presenters will share information about community resources and explain how to refer victims appropriately.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

After law school, Yesenia moved back to Tampa and started working at the Public Defender’s Office.
