• Emergency medical condition issues - Beware, you PIP benefits can be reduced from $10,000 to $2,500
• Independent medical examinations - a further attempt by your insurer to cut off your PIP benefits

Mr. Hancock received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1983 and his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1987. Michael is a second-generation native of Tampa. He is a graduate of Jesuit high school. In his free time, Michael enjoys outdoor sports with his family and friends such as golf, fishing, water skiing and wakeboarding, and mountain biking.

After several years handling claims for the insurance industry, Mr. Hancock founded Hancock Injury Attorneys in 1996 with a clear understanding of the insurance industry and how to obtain the best results for his clients. Mr. Hancock graduated from the University of Florida and South Texas College of Law. Mr. Hancock is a second generation Tampa native. Among other charitable organizations for which he volunteers, Mr. Hancock serves on the Board of Directors of the North Tampa Bar Association and has been elected as President for the past two years.
