SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY:
Pat is the Chief Deputy for The Hillsborough County Property Appraiser and is the Vice President of the International Association of Assessing Officers. He has the CAE, RES, CFE, MAI, and SRA designations, is a State-certified general real estate appraiser RZ3713, and has been active in appraisal consulting, teaching, and writing appraisal/assessment materials for over 45 years. His duties with the Property Appraiser include the oversight of all operations and program development. Pat is involved with the support of appraisal staff with regard to data analytics, expanding the use of Multiple Regression, Spatial Analysis, and IT. He is a senior national instructor for the IAAO and an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor.
Pat has over 18 years of experience in product and procedural development, both in the private and public sectors. Some of his published writings include “Herding My Cats”, “Freedom to Fail”, and “Thinking Outside the Big Box”, which he coauthored with Tim Wilmath, MAI.
Pat and his wife Mary have been married for 41 years, have a 26 year old daughter, Elizabeth, and enjoy boating, golf, and travel.
