The Carrollwood Bar Association’s (CBA) monthly CLE luncheon will be held Thursday, August 9th, 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM, at Carrollwood Country Club, 13903 Clubhouse Dr, Tampa FL 33618.

In Law Firm Technology: From your PC to the Courtroom, we will discuss how technology affects the practice of law in today’s legal realm. From the ethics of protecting client’s data and cybersecurity vulnerabilities that every law firm should be aware of, to budget conscious eDiscovery practices; we will discuss the advantages of using today’s technology as a tool to win cases and protect client’s data.
Mr. Baradat is the founding member of the Law Office of Carlos A. Baradat, P.A., where he focuses his practice on business, eDiscovery and technology related issues. He has been an adjunct professor at Hodges University since 2014, where he teaches eDiscovery, Social Media & Privacy Law, Intellectual Property and Mediation. He has served at the University’s Academic Committee and was instrumental in creating the first certificate program on eDiscovery offered by a university in the state of Florida.
With more than 15 years of professional experience working in business, administration, law and information technology, Mr. Baradat started The Baradat Group, LLC, an innovative business and IT consulting company that provides law firms with assistance in trial preparation, electronic discovery, cybersecurity, litigation and technology.
Mr. Baradat is the author of a variety of articles and publications on law firm technology and has presented on various topics related to electronic discovery in today’s legal practice.
